Writer and educator Kendra Cherry specializes in making psychology more understandable for students. She is the author of the Everything Psychology Book (2nd Edition) and she has written about diverse topics in psychology including personality, social behavior, child therapy, research methods and much more.
After completing her degree, Kendra Cherry worked as a psychosocial rehabilitation specialist to help children suffering from emotional disturbances overcome maladaptive behaviors. Utilizing behavioral, cognitive and socialization strategies, she helped her young clients cope with family relationships, peer interactions, aggression, social skills and academic difficulties.
Kendra Cherry holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Idaho State University, with additional coursework in chemical addictions and case management. She also holds a Master of Science in Education from Boise State University. Her primary research interest is in educational psychology.
