- Will I get college credit for taking the course?
No. The free Psychology 101 e-course is purely for self-learning purposes. While you can print a certificate of completion once you finish the course, you will not receive college credit.
- Are there any required textbooks for the course?
No. The only reading materials are all linked directly from each e-mail lesson.
- I received a lesson, but I don't understand what I need to do?
Simply read the email instructions, and then click each link to access the lesson information. Read each article linked from the email and take any quizzes that are included in that week's email.
- Will there be an exam?
You will encounter a few quizzes throughout the course, plus a comprehensive quiz at the end of the class. Remember, this is a self-directed course. While there is no formal grade issued and you don't need to achieve a particular score to pass each quiz, you should be grading yourself. If you are not happy with your score on a particular quiz, go back and review the material before re-taking the quiz.
- Is there an age limit? Do I need to be over 18 to take the course?
No, there are no age limitations on taking the free psychology e-course. However, you should note that all materials are aimed at students studying at the high school or college level.
- Do I have to be a high school or college student to take the class? I'm retired, but I just like to learn more about psychology.

- I've finished the course! When will I get my Ph.D. in Psychology degree in the mail?
You won't. As mentioned earlier, the course offers no college credit. It is not accredited and no degree is offered. If a site does claim to offer a Ph.D. degree after a short-email course, it is most likely a diploma mill, which you should avoid.
