Because of the diverse world we live in today, it's some-what difficult for us to adapt to ordinary change. By majoring in psychology, I can help elevate some of those problems.

I want to major in it because this is what I'm seeking for. It has been years for me to understand myself, which degree should I pursue because all this time, decision always been made by my parents. As a teenager many deal with tons of problems that some may not realize. To me I can notice when something is wrong with a person and all I'd like to do is help. From what I have heard keeping your emotions in is bad for your health. Everyone needs to someone to share their thoughts and feelings too because most don't ever think they have the right person to speak with. People with mental illnesses never know right from wrong and I'd love to figure out a way to help those who might have a chance at developing an illness. In other words I just want to help those who have been through things I used to go through. Just to prove that you can change no matter what is said or done.

As a public health officer, I need to understand people's behaviours from deep their mind so that as I interact with them, I can serve their best interests and needs within their environment.
