I feel black is elegant colour. It also seems to be a very royal colour. I like black a lot, but it's not my favourite colour.

The color black makes me feel Powerful....it is the color of a power suit. It is the color that is created with the presence of all color. It is the color of a people who rose from oppression to become business owners, Drs. and Lawyers. It is a sliming color which makes a woman feel more powerful in her sexuality (the little black dress). It is one of the most powerful basic color that brings all other colors together. It looks good on any car. The color black makes me feel powerful!

Black is a sense of beauty. To me black is good. Though some people due to their culture associate black with bad things. These culture appeals that during mourning people wear black. Think of shoes among 10 at least 5 of them prefer black. Black march with any color. Black is strong especialy when mixed with other colors. Even the computer the media we using to communicate with, most of them are black.

Black makes me feel good. And I think that we, as humans, will always be drawn to the unknown, and black sort of represents that mystery. For what color is the place where we will never fully understand, outerspace? What color is at the bottom of the ocean where we dare not venture? What color is the world at nighttime, where anything can happen? Black will always be there, whether we like it or not. It is every single color, all mixed in one. It is mystery, fear, wonder, death, all in one color. Some get the chills when they see it, others feel comforted, and yet to others it is just another color. It represents something different for everyone. Most think of death. I sometimes think of death, but mostly heaven, and the wonderful joys that await us, with GOD, Mary, the angels and saints. And yet, it is just a color, and not everything has a deeper meaning. But i love black, because of it's mystery and deepness. You don't see people writing 1,000 letter comments about yellow, now do ya?

Black makes me feel normal. I don't really feel any different, really. I mean it's just a color!! It's my favorite color, though, because if you mix every single color together (including black), you get black!! I think black is also sort of symbolic, like it means death, so if i were surrounded in it, all day long, I suppose i would be sad, because everything needs balance. So black makes me feel normal, pretty much.

When I was young, I used to associate black with darkness, death and unpleasant experience; maybe due to the movies that I saw, or the drama that I heard or the stories that I read. However, when I grew up, I became fascinated with black color. I discovered that many black people are beautiful. Black suit is fashionable. Black underwear is sexy. I find black roses cute. Not only witches and bad people wear black clothes; even priests and bishops do! I think it's not sinful to have black as favorite color. I like black coffee very much. Finally, I find night time mysterious and mystical (though I don't go out at night)! My soul is at rest as I look up the dark skies at night. The stars remind me that God is there - even in the dark night of my life. There is always hope after all.

I remember black construction paper in grade school and I just finished up a video project of lightning strikes-in pitch black(darkness)..I can only remember playing with the color black(when very young) as a depth to consider--escapism, not space travel but leaping there.
